The Town of Atikokan wishes to advise residents and motorists that MacKenzie Avenue from Burns Street to O’Brien Street will be closed from July 13, 2026, until July 16, 2026.  The temporary road closure is required to allow contractors to complete roadway repairs and storm and sewer system.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes during the construction period to help minimize delays. Please allow extra travel time and follow all posted traffic control signage.

The Town apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation while this important infrastructure work is completed.
