Water/Sewer Billing

Water and Sewer billing is administered by the Town of Atikokan’s Finance Department. The Town of Atikokan does not have water meters, water rates are a flat rate as determined by rate class and established by Council by by-law:

The Water and Sewer billing is split into four separate billings, bills are mailed out at the beginning of the month in which they are due. Each of the two bills mailed includes two installments.

Water Systems

The Town of Atikokan operates and maintains its water and wastewater system in conjunction with Northern Waterworks Inc., who operate and maintain the water and wastewater treatment facilities.

The Town of Atikokan is committed to providing safe and clean drinking water. Review our water quality reports and operational plan to learn more about the water and sewer system. Copies of the reports are availiable at the Atikokan Municipal Office free of charge.
